Why We're Here
Have you ever wanted to make a beloved dish and couldn't lay your hands on the recipe?
Have you ever made not fewer than a dozen different crepe recipes after looking on Google for the one you made last time, and loved, only to not be able to locate it again? ME TOO!
That is why we're here, folks.
Another try at organizing my life. Or at least part of it. It's about time. I just turned 60.
Years ago, as a Christmas gift for the whole "fam damily" I compiled a Family Cookbook using one of those fundraising cookbook companies. It was a great experience (except for the typos and unverified submissions) plus we use them all the time and have enough leftover to give as gifts or to shore up an uneven table leg. Many of the same recipes from the family cookbook will probably be repeated on this blog. Many will be new and added as we happen upon them.
Simple recipes for simple folks who love to eat but love God and each other more. Thanks to all the cooks who have provided or will provide fond food memories and recipes to be shared. We couldn't have done this without you.
